For the first time ever, Kids' Books Bolivia teamed up with Títeres Elwaky and joined other local authors, bookstores, and editorials, as participants in two book fairs during June. 

The first book fair was at the American International School of Bolivia on June 4-5, and the second was the National Book Fair of Punata from June 12-16, a neighboring town to Cochabamba.

Spring 2018 authors Julia Mancini, Iesha Baldwin, and Hannah Levine, presented their books to a group of students in Temporal, Cochabamba, where Kids' Book Bolivia coordinated literacy workshops throughout the semester.

​Spring 2018 students Marvin Bynoe and Leidy Tovar have been collaborating with Aliya Ellenby (Kids' Books Bolivia project coordinator), and Teodora Fulguera (independent educator who works locally to promote reading amongst children and youth), providing dynamic literacy workshops to 4th graders in Temporal, Cochabamba.

The library at Fundación Patiño recently purchased book sets for 6 libraries throughout Cochabamba, and will be partnering with Kids' Books Bolivia and Títeres Elwaky to create storytelling performances, enriched with puppetry, to be performed at each library. 

The books selected to be adapted for performance are: The Honey is Ours!, by Julius Figueroa, Unplugged, by Jenna Jablonski, and If the Moon Doesn't Shine, by Anna Roy.
